One of the best allures is definitely the presence of beautiful beaches, including the one called Jogan Beach. The location is near to Siung Beach and it even features a stunning waterfall! To be exact, the location is in Purwodadi Village and it belongs to Tepus Sub-District. Unlike other beaches with their pure white sandy shoreline, this one has a unique landscape, which is considered better to enjoy photography and exploration.
The Nuance of Jogan Beach
Here is the question. What makes Jogan Beach is popular? Aside from the seclusion, the beach features a majestic waterfall (Jogan Waterfall) that resides on the shoreline. To mention, the water never dries out even during a rainy season. Next, the nuance is both calm and comfy, as well. What is more? Jogan Beach is surrounded by tall cliffs! The good thing is that tourists are able to climb and explore those cliffs comfortably, as long as they do it in a careful manner.
Exploring Jogan Beach
After arriving at Jogan Beach, tourists can do various activities, including beach exploration. As mentioned before, the beach is not known for the sandy shoreline. Instead, it has cliffs with a waterfall on it. During the exploration, therefore, visitors would get a more satisfying experience. This is both fun and challenging, after all. In fact, they are able to take a shower under the waterfall! The only need to do is to go down the cliff carefully. The locals would recommend two types of methods to go down the cliff, which are either rappelling or canyoning.
Despite the slippery and challenging landscape, tourists can safely explore the beach due to the presence of wooden handgrips installed on the cliffs. During the exploration, they would find some coral rocks where lots of baby crabs live in it. Some locals are often seen in this spot, too, as they want to catch those crabs for cooking. According to them, the best time to hunt those crabs is in the rainy season! Tourists don’t have to catch them, as they can simply watch and take photos of these cute animals.
The next thing that tourists often do in Jogan Beach is indeed to enjoy the panoramas. From the top of the cliffs, the view of the Indian Ocean and big waves can be seen clearly! Plus, visitors have the chance to witness a romantic sunset on the horizon. The sky appears orange and soothing at the time, too! Well, it is likely everyone is going to take photos during the visit, so don’t forget to carry a camera later.
